Investigating the Influencing Factors and Outcomes of the Entrepreneurship Curriculum for the Talented Students in Iran

Abstract

Purpose: The aim of the present study was to investigate the influencing factors and outcomes of the entrepreneurship curriculum for the talented students in Iran.
Methodology: Research method was basic-applied in terms of purpose mixed (qualitative) of exploratory type in terms of data type, cross-sectional in terms of data collection time, and descriptive- survey in terms of data collection method or the nature and method of research. The study population in the qualitative section included all the heads of the provincial elite foundation and the heads of the Talented Departments of the General Directorate of Education and the provinces and 20% of the teachers implementing the Shahab project in Iran. Twenty people were selected by purposive non-random sampling method. The study population in quantitative section includes junior high school students for talents students. There were 7000students and a total of 364 people were selected using the Cochran's formula. Multi-stage cluster sampling method was used. In the qualitative part of the present study, the Delphi questionnaire was used based on CVR and CVI forms. Moreover, the questionnaire was used in the quantitative part. The validity and reliability of the instruments were evaluated and confirmed.
Findings: The results showed that the entrepreneurship curriculum for top talents including environmental components, economics, entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship, factors affecting the implementation of this approach in the curriculum, including components of support, teacher, system policies and factors influencing the entrepreneurship curriculum, including talent discovery, improving top talents and self-efficacy, were introduced.
Conclusion: entrepreneurship curriculum will lead students and even teachers to this area and ensures success.
